Background

Filmed on location in Kent over three weeks, Kinetic Pixel worked closely with the Games Producer David Bodycombe and Potion Pictures to create 24 unique games leveraging studio graphics, touchscreens, buzzer systems, physical props and lighting effects to create exciting and memorable challenges for the teams.

The technical complexity of The Family Brain Games was a perfect fit for the KPX teams’ skills and experience.  All games used the same physical space which involved numerous resets of the studio space while the cameras were rolling backstage to cover the documentary aspect of the show.  Our engineers and technicians devised and built equipment into portable racks and switchable cabling infrastructure under the studio floor which meant each game could be set in and tested in minutes.
