KPX have been an integral part of the coverage of the event for more than ten years. During the pandemic, Eisteddfod Yr Urdd became “Eisteddfod T” – a virtual festival giving children and young people from Wales and beyond a chance to take part in a fun-filled Eisteddfod from the comfort of their homes.

Synopsis
The Urdd Eisteddfod is Europe's largest youth festival, attracting visitor numbers in excess of 100,000 over the course of its 6 days during the Whitsun half-term week. Avanti Media provide live coverage of the entire event for S4C, on air for 8 hours during the day following the live competitions from the pavilion accompanied by news-desk style studio presentation consisting of a results service, features and interviews, and then on air again each evening for a 2 hour highlights show.
