Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
Background
15 Questions, One Million Pounds and Three Lifelines. “Millionaire” is arguably the most well-known entertainment format in the world, and the template for all modern quiz shows. Many of the KPX team have been lucky enough to be part of it since 2001 with Celador International and at its current home with Sony Pictures. Over the years, our team have put their mark on many of the international versions of the show, and designed and programmed more variations of the Fastest Finger First games and Ask The Audience voting mechanics than we can remember!
When the show was rebooted with Jeremy Clarkson, We were invited by Stellify Media to take on the game technology systems and real-time graphics for the UK show. A key part of the UK show has always been Fastest Finger First – the UK is one of the few countries to still play it. Drawing on our experience of numerous iterations across many territories, we designed and manufactured new Fastest Finger First devices. We created custom vacuum moulded cases, integrated mounting plates to attach to the podiums, and custom button bars using high-quality metalwork and video arcade machine parts.
